The germicidal ultraviolet light (UVC) air sterilizer for air duct can quickly mount in existing air ducts to kill viruses, bacteria, mold and other living airborne pathogens.
Ultraviolet is classified into three wavelength ranges. The first is UV-C, which ranges from 100 nanometers (nm) to 280 nm. Next is UV-B, which ranges from 280 nm to 315 nm. Last is UV-A, ranging from 315 nm to 400 nm. Germicidal Ultraviolet (UV-C) wavelengths are used for this air sterilizer.
UV-C rays, in the range of 250 nm – 280 nm, renders harmful micro-organisms such as bacteria and viruses ineffective, by destroying the genetic information in the DNA.
In this method of disinfection, nothing is added – making it simple, inexpensive, and very low maintenance
Effective for killing virus, bacteria contained in air flow. (we should combine this list with the one on the site eliminating the duplicates/redundant ones)
